Swedish summer brings blueberries, raspberries, strawberries but also wild strawberries or 'Smultron'. It's funny to see people standing in the side of the road, head down and once in a while standing straight so enjoy the taste of a handful of Smultron. Kind of secretly, not to give away a spot full of Smultron they've found.
No wonder the unusually nice nature spots around Uppsala are called 'Smultron ställe', or 'Smultron places'. It took me 2 years to figure it out though... Or: how a country can keep for years small and big secrets hidden to one who lives there. In 1,5 month we'll leave Sweden. It's sad to realize we won't be able to keep exploring this great country much longer/more...
