Visite

These last days we had my very good friend Melissa, and her 'very good friend' Derek over at Palaisaeu. It was great to share stories, memories, experiences after 3 years of not seeing her!
Of course we talked about our mutual past in Hanoi, shared memories of great/cute/anoying teachers. We even met one our schoolmates who now lives in Paris.


On sunday Melissa and I visited Versailles. Impressive, if only for the huge amount of people waiting in line to get in. There was a special program, the prestigious fountains were to be 'set on water', with appropriate music to accompany the experience. We loved it. Drove around the big park as well with some rented bikes. To be recommended!






Monday I showed Derek and Melissa Gif Sur Yvette, AND what its like to run around with the two kids all day.


Going to the park, that's mostly relaxing. But we also when for crepes in a little restaurant, which mend (next to eating the crepes) running up n down for the toilet, watching Pelle in his stoller by turntaking, holding him once he was awake, trying to have something that resembles a conversation in between all of this... I didn't quit check with Melissa and Derek if they'd enjoyed this specific part of the day. ;-) But I dare to believe they did.
By the time I'm writing all this Pelle has ended upp in my arms, making it a bit difficult to continue typing...
But I just wanne conclude: we had a great time the last 6 days. Thanks to you guys Melissa and Derek. Hope to see you again soon!
