Bert and Thomas are actually colleges here at CEA. That's why you can see them here celebrating there most recent paper together. With a BBQ, the first one of the season.
Bert doesn't live with us 7 days a week, he has his wife and daughter in Belgium. So he is here only 2 nights a week. And how the kids enjoy these!!! Thomas and Bert sometimes hold 'daddy-competitions': they call for Pelle and see who he runs to first... Luckely Thomas is still on the winning hand, but it really is nice to see how fond Pelle is of Bert. And when it's time for the evening rituals (milk and stories in the couch), Bert also likes to join ;-) .
As the kids are so comfortable with him, Bert could babysit them some time ago, so Thomas and I finally managed to get out for a romantic dinner.
Now Bert will be off for some months, because he also has a second child on the way. But next year he'll be joining us again at Boulevard de Lozere. We look very much forward to it!
